Today is the twentieth anniversary of the senseless tragedy that took place at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. My sister was a senior in high school in 1999 (in North Carolina), and I cannot imagine life today without her. Unfortunately for the families of the victims of Columbine, that is exactly what they have had to endure each and every day – missing a loved one needlessly removed from this earth by two seriously disturbed fellow students.

I am typically not one for true crime stories, but I did want to mention the topic today, and to curate some links I found online regarding the subject. If you or someone you know needs help, please understand that there are people in this world who love you and want you to succeed in living a positive, fulfilled life. Violence is NEVER the answer.
